You need to hit the “Fn” button on the bottom left of the keyboard first, and while holding the “Fn” button, just hit the “F2” button and whalla – your wireless card will be turned on (enabled). You’ll notice, if you have a Dell Inspiron laptop, that if you look at the F2 key you’ll see the wifi icon on the top of the key. But that didn’t help me at all because again, the wireless card was turned off so nothing was showing.įinally, I figured out there is a keyboard shortcut to turning on (enabling) the wifi wireless card on the Dell Inspiron.
